One of the nice things about Lamborghini is that they are still making new cars. A lot of the cars I talked about on this eight week journey have been old cars that aren’t in production anymore. Lamborghini is still making new cars and don’t look like they’re stopping any time soon.

Above is the Lamborghini Aventador. It has a very powerful 6.5L V12 and can crank out 690 hp. The Aventador is one of the more top end cars for Lamborghini and has a starting price of $415,000 which is A LOT of money. This car is meant to take over the Murciélago which is a decade older. They like every other car company have to upgrade their cars and that is why the Aventador was born. It has a 0-60 in 2.9 seconds which is like a quick yawn and it’s gone. This car has an engine sound that will put almost any car to shame and is scary loud.

Like the Aventador the Huracán was also created to replace an older model, the Gallardo. It uses the same V10 engine from the Gallardo but has a more aerodynamic body and just better overall performance. Surprisingly the Huracán has a faster 0-60 than an Aventador. The reason that this is surprising is the price of the two. The Huracán is only $250,000 which is around $150,000 cheaper than the Aventador. It has a 0-60 in 2.5 seconds which shaves .4 seconds off the Aventadors. The Huracán is a very sporty car for the price and might as well be more money than the Aventador. I usually don’t compare two cars from the same brand but, the Aventador is way too overpriced for what it is. When you buy the car you are practically just buying the V12 engine which isn’t worth it. In the end I assume everyone has come to a conclusion about what the best car brand is but personally I think it is Pagani.

I decided to save the two most iconic exotic car brands for last. I’m starting with Ferrari because they don’t have the best performance. Don’t get me wrong at all they have amazing specs compared to other cars but for the price they are not worth it. The reason Ferrari’s are priced the way that they are is because of their rarity. One of the greatest examples of that is a Ferrari F40

The Ferrari F40 was built from 1987 -1992 and was the final Ferrari that the creator of Ferrari, Enzo Ferrari, approved. It started off at the price of $400,000 and has went up $880,000. It has a twin-turbocharged Ferrari Dino V8 engine. The funny thing about me bringing up this car and talking about them not having the best performance is the fact that it is a very fast car. It has a 0-60 in 4.2 seconds which was very impressive for a car from 1987. One of the very unique parts of this car is the fact that the engine is in the middle of the car and it’s rear wheel drive. Ferrari has made some iconic cars but for most people this is probably the one that people know best.

Above is the Ferrari LaFerrari another infamous Ferrari. The LaFerrari is another iconic Ferrari that definitely doesn’t have poor performance. It has a 6.3L V12 which is a lot of power for this car. A fun fact about this car is that Gordon Ramsay loves this car and owns two of them. Gordon Ramsay owns a lot of Ferrari’s but this is the only one that he has two of. Another thing that blows me away about this car is that it goes for 1.4 million. It has a 0-60 in an astonishing 2.3 seconds. It also goes from 0-120 mph in less than seven seconds. It scares me to think that the car can go 0-120 faster than my car can 0-60. I obviously have a bias towards Lamborghini over Ferrari but I will not try to down play Ferrari. They are still one hell of a car that is a force to be reckoned with.

Bentley’s are another luxury car that compete with Rolls Royce. Rolls Royce is definitely more luxurious but Bentley incorporates speed into the luxury. They are also more reasonably priced than Rolls Royce but they still cost a lot to maintain.

This is Bentley’s SUV and is the best family car that they own. The Bentley Bentayga has a W12 engine and achieves a 0-60 in 4 seconds which is jaw dropping for an SUV. It’s top speed is 187 mph which is also amazing for an SUV. Specs wise the Bentley Bentayga might be one of the best SUV’s available to buy. It’s mpg is an amazing 21.6 which might not sound amazing but for any form of engine with 12 cylinders is great. The Bentley Bentayga has an amazing interior which comes back to the luxury part of the car with leather seats and screens for kids in the back to watch TV. This car just screams luxury and performance in one and the best part about this car is it’s available for the reasonable price of $195,000.

The Bentley Continental GT is another great car which is more expensive but, more luxurious. It also has a W12 but it’s a 6 Liter which supplies more power on a smaller body which makes it go faster. It’s 0-60 is 3.7 seconds but the top speed is 207 mph. Owning one of these shows that you have money willing to spend. It’s mpg is 23.7 which again is great for any 12 liter. It has 626 hp which is very respectable. The starting price of a Continental GT is $218,400 which like I stated previously is more expensive but more luxurious. Bentley’s are a car that give Rolls Royce a run for their money and in the end it is going to be up to who decides to work more on innovation and whoever does is going to be the better car brand.

I know that most of my blog has been focused around the best car brand. I’m not going to lie to you it is pretty safe to say that Mercedes is not the best. It just has a lot of nice cars.

Above is a Mercedes AMG GTR. It almost always is in that green color. It has a 4.0L AMG V8 biturbo and cranks out a respectable 577 horsepower. It has a zero to sixty in 3.5 seconds which isn’t the fastest but it is still a very elegant car. It has a very sleek body design and is aerodynamic. It has a very lavish interior and its main focus is comfort. This is definitely one of the more comfortable super cars that you will get in. It has a relatively low price for super cars starting at $159,350 which is still expensive but compared to other super cars is not that bad.

This definitely is not a super car and not even a sports car. What is amazing about the Mercedes G63 AMG 6×6 is the rarity and price on it. It is an extremely versatile car and can go on any round you can think of. It’s original price was $515,00 but since they do not make them anymore the price has been elevated to a cool $975,000. It has a 5.5 Liter biturbo V8 and produces 558hp which is not a whole lot for this big of a truck. It’s 0-60 is 6 seconds which is fast for a car that big but, pretty slow in the scheme of things. To sum Mercedes up, it’s a very nice car brand that has multiple expensive cars but, they are more reasonable for most people than something like a Lamborghini or Ferrari. Some people dream of owning a Mercedes but personally they are not my favorite car brand.

Another big car brand that is definitely less known is Pagani. Pagani only has 2 types of cars that they have made and they were originally a go-kart company. The owner evolved from go-karts to hyper cars. Some people have a hard time calling cars hyper cars but if there are any cars to be labeled hyper cars, Pagani is the car.

Above is the Pagani Huayra and it is one of two cars made by Pagani. The starting price for this beauty is 2.4 million. It has a very unique look and this care can always be instantly identified once you see the rear view mirrors and the four headlights. The doors raise straight up which is not something you usually see with most butterfly doors. It also has a 0-60 in 2.8 seconds which would be breathtaking to witness. It has a 6 Liter Twin Turbocharged Mercedes Amg GTR V12 inside of it. It also has a stupid amount of carbon fiber on it which makes it light and even faster.

The Pagani Zonda (Above) is a more reasonable 1.4 million dollars. It is the little brother to the Huayra and is not as nice, but still a nice car. A few things that really set it a part is the extra fog light on the front and the doors open traditionally. The Zonda is available in a convertible but it is no where close to cheap. Another difference is the engine, It has a 6 Liter V12 but it has less power than the Huayra’s. The Zonda goes 0-60 in 4 seconds which is definitely fast but nothing compared to the Huayra. The one thing the Zonda has on the Huayra is all the different variants you can obtain with it. There is the Zonda R which is a Race version and is faster than the Huayra but costs more and is not street legal. They both are nice cars but of the two I would definitely prefer the Huayra.

To go back on the question, what is the best car brand? It is a very debatable question and can come down to personal opinion. One thing that is for sure is that McLaren can give the other more well known car brands a run for their money.

Above is the McLaren Senna and it is McLarens newest car and one of their prettiest cars. It has a very adaptive spoiler and tons of down force. You can take turns at 100 miles per hour and not have the slightest worry about flipping over. The biggest problem is a car this pretty sure is not cheap. The McLaren Senna’s starting MSRP is 1 million dollars and just goes up from there with customization options. The Senna is named after the Brazilian F1 driver, Ayrton Senna , who drove McLarens from 1988-1993. The car has a 4 Liter Twin Turbo Charged V8. It has a very respectable zero to sixty in 2.8 seconds. It is a more modern McLaren and just a very appealing body style.

Above is the McLaren F1. It was an F1 car made for F1 racing and they no longer make them. They are hard to get street legal but it is possible to make them street legal. The biggest problem with the F1 is the price tag. The last one sold was sold for $15,620,000 and I do not think anybody reading this could come close to affording that. Most Americans do not make this amount of money in their entire life. It has a 6.1L V12 engine. The 0-60 on a McLaren F1 is 3.2 seconds which is not the best in today’s standards but compared to cars back when the F1 was made, this was incredible. Between the two cars I would definitely pick the Senna because it is cheaper and appeals to my senses much more.

Quite a big question is what is the best car brand. There are a lot to choose from and it can be hard to decide. Personally one of my favorite exotic cars is a Porsche 911 GT 3 RS.
It has a 0-60 in 3 seconds and has a sleek body design with an enjoyable spoiler.

It is a rear wheel drive with a 4 liter V6. It tops out at a speed of 193 mph and it can reach that speed in around 10 seconds. It is a very loud car and that might be a turn off to some people but, personally that makes me love it even more. You can pick one up for the low price of $188,550. They are very reliable cars so you do not have to worry about it breaking down.

Another good Porsche which has a much higher price tag is a Porsche 918 Spyder. It is a much shorter car and has more power but it just has a different body which attract some people. It has a 0-60 in 2.2 seconds which is unbelievable fast.

The Porsche Spyder is a hybrid car and has an electric motor and a regular engine. The regular engine is a 4.6L V8 and cranks out a solid 887 horse power. It’s price tag is roughly 1.7 million dollars. It is a lot more money but it has more horse power and is more of a luxury car. It’s the top end car at Porsche. If you had 1.7 million dollars lying around I would still personally go for the 911 GT3 RS because it would be cheaper to maintain and would not drain your wallet as much. The Spyder is definitely a sleeker body and more people would turn there heads when they see it but it also is not the loudest car ever. I enjoy a nice rumble from cars and since this is a hybrid you would not be getting that from this.

One of the more luxurious car brands is Rolls Royce. They focus less on having a fast car and more on having one that makes you feel like you are the president. It’s the kind of car for people who don’t drive themselves. The most sports like Rolls Royce is the Rolls Royce Wraith. It is the only two door Rolls Royce and also the fasted Rolls Royce. They start off at $320,500 and only go up with the additional options available.

It has a twin turbo V12 which gets the car going but not as fast as you might expect from a V12. It can go from zero to 60 in a respectable 4.3 seconds. It gets 12 mpg in the city and 18 mpg on the highway so you better be willing to spend a lot of money on gas.

Another good selection for Rolls Royce is the Rolls Royce Ghost, it is cheaper than the Wraith but still a lot of money. Buying a brand new Ghost would set you back $311,900. It is a four door compared to the Wraith and is slower but you will get more of a luxury feel.

Honestly when you are driving in a car that is meant for you to enjoy your time in do you want it to be fast. Since it is a comfort car you can just relax and not have to worry about getting places quickly. There are tons of customization options for this car but each one increases the price of the car slightly. One of the more odd customization options is an umbrella that you can customize and it’s there so when you get taken around town they can get out and grab the umbrella from the door and help you. This is the literally definition of wealthy and I don’t think you could be much better than this.
